How does it work?
– There are two ways mystery shopping can be carried out, the first in a telephone enquiry to access elements like answering time, politeness, helpfulness, and ability to turn the enquiry into a sale or visit without being pushy. We will then feedback a report with how the call went & make pointers for improvement in a document report.
– The more traditional way of carrying out Mystery shopping is by visiting the shop, salon, bar or restaurant. Our agents are trained to be as discreet & unsuspecting as possible, many with acting backgrounds or experience, the client can specify areas they want focused on, or the agent to pay particular attention to, for example does the staff member offer to sign up for a loyalty card, waiting times between courses, or general enthusiasm / attitude.
– Following the visit, our agents will fill in a report which we will then feedback to the business owners / management for action. This shouldn’t be seen as a way to incriminate staff but more to identify training needs & how you can improve your service. It may be the case the report is glowing & it will give you a nice sense of achievement knowing that everything is being done to provide a great experience.
